A family operation, built over generations.

The cattle change with the seasons; the values don’t. Butler Grazing is run by family, for the long term.

Butler Grazing grew from a simple belief: that good cattle come from good country, careful breeding, and people who handle stock the right way. Today that means a purebred Wagyu seedstock program, extensive grazing, and our own backgrounding feedlot, all run by family.

We’re proud to be part of the premium Wagyu story, but our feet are firmly in the paddock. We breed cattle we’d be happy to run ourselves, and we sell genetics we stand behind.

Where we are

Our breeders run on grazing country at Rosehill, north of Gin Gin, with our backgrounding feedlot and silage at Widgewa. Around 2,000 breeders sit behind the program, grown on grass and backgrounded on-property. Genuine enquiries and on-property inspections are welcome by appointment.
